Mastery Class: Jumpstart Your Somatica Coaching Business
Let’s talk about starting your coaching business.
If that thought made you feel anything from mild anxiety to existential terror, you’re definitely in the right place. Building a business is hard. We’re not going to sugarcoat it; there are a ton of new skills you have to learn and a lot of work you’ll have to do to make your coaching business a success.
Learning new skills can be fun; however, there’s a problem with how business skills are taught:
- Magical three-step formulas that guarantee success for anyone!
- Hustle-culture sages shaming you for not doing 200 things at once
- A barrage of “proven techniques” to build your funnel, put “leads” through them, and “convert” them into sales while extracting the most from them.
This dehumanizing, heady way of teaching business is not how you’ve learned to see the world as embodied Somatica practitioners. You don’t claim to possess magic formulas, shame clients for having boundaries, or see them as transactional relationships to be manipulated.
Instead, you approach your clients as individuals and help them create a relationship that works for them. You show up as yourselves, fully present and attuned to everyone’s needs and boundaries, including your own.
What if you approached your business the same way?
Now don’t get us wrong – running a business does require strategic thinking, sales techniques, marketing funnels, and even some spreadsheets.
But we also believe you can learn these business skills and launch a successful business in a way that feels good and right for you – driven by joy and pleasure, not fear and shame.
Why Take This Class
Business is made of relationships. Money happens to be only one part of that.
Your business challenges are also your relationship and intimacy challenges – in disguise. The same mental blockers, emotional triggers, and core desires that come up for you in intimate relationships will show up in how you run your business.
With the tools and techniques you have learned in your Somatica Training, you can build a business that feels good in your body, not just in your bank account.
Your Somatica Training gives you business superpowers. Let’s show you how.
What You’ll Learn
In this Mastery Class, you’ll learn step-by-step to launch your coaching website and business, but through an embodied, Somatica-inspired lens. Here’s what you will work on:
- Craft your first offer: figure out who you want to work with, what you want to offer to them, and how you’ll present it to them
- Show your (business) self out: write your badass business bio and translate elements of your story into your unique visual brand
- Put together all of the elements in the previous steps to build your first website. If you already have a website, we’ll help you level it up so it builds more trust and gets more clients engaged with you.
- Set up all of the foundational tools and systems for launching your business: domain, email, payments, invoicing, bank accounts, privacy and safety
- Make marketing juicy: Identify a few marketing strategies that turn you on, and create a marketing plan that you can commit to for the next few months
- Own your sales tease: create an outline for your sales consultation and practice sales calls in a way that feels joyful and inviting, not creepy or pushy
- Bonus materials: expert tutorials on specific business topics, in-depth interviews with successful Somatica practitioners on how they launched their business, practical tips, curated business resources and more!
You will leave this class with your website, a clear offer for your clients, confidence in your sales skills, and a concrete marketing plan you’re excited to use.
But that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Our real, secret goal is that we help you think about the very idea of “business” differently for the rest of your life. There’s no one right way to build a business, just like there’s no one way to create a relationship. You don’t have to adopt a business strategy or marketing technique just because you’re “supposed to”.
Instead, let’s take the time to understand what you truly want from your business, consider your own desires, boundaries and triggers, and build a business around who you are – a business based on pleasure, consent, and joy.
